Learnt about the FRF.FRF or Frequency response function is nothing but Response of a structure for a given input i.e like the response of a Structure to the applied Dynamic load(Sinusoidally varying load).

The Response can be a Displacement Response,Velocity Response or Acceleration response.An FRF can be obtained from a FEA model by plotting any of the above 3 quantities with time or frequency. Nodes, where u want to plot the response have to selected.Then the response can be plotted.The response can be plotted at all possible locations and the varying force applied at all possible locations.

All these plots will result in a FRF matrix. This FRF matrix can be used to get an insight into the natural frequencies and mode shapes of the structure.
